Tell Us About It was created as a very small Facebook group on January 14 2017 by a man named Will Stonehocker. It was known as Entertain Yourself back then. There were no admins, no co-owner or no moderator. But it was originally created as a group where people can talk about anything they want with the slogan, for people who want to talk about a lot of stuff. On February 14 that year, a very popular member who would become the owner was invited by someone who would then be known as the co-owner. On March 30, Entertain Yourself became Tell Me About It and then there were over 25 members which would later expand when the Messenger group chat was created in May and when the Discord server was created on June 1. On June 20, Will Stonehocker left the group because he felt it wasn't right and felt like it was very small. He gave someone who would look after the group the admin role after he left and the person he gave it to was no more than Roszina Head.

When she became owner, Ryan Vo became the co-owner of Tell Me About It. The group became more successful when she promoted Ryan and a few of her friends to admin and mod. Then the group became more popular on July 12 when the group had a themed fast food day where everyone talked about their favourite fast food and shared what fast food chains were their favourites. Tell Me About It had over 100 members in the summer but meanwhile, there was another group watching their backs from September 6. They were no other than Mates Studio Schmucks, a hate group that is hugely against the owner for her controversy on a Discord server. The members include Paroos, Nanis and others. Since then, Tell Me About It became strongly against Mates Studio Schmucks for what they done to the owner on Discord. From October to November, a raid was planned on Discord. They really hate the owner.

Meanwhile in November, the Tell Me About It Spotify playlist was created. It is a playlist of songs that all the members like to listen to. It has a wide variety of genres. On December 10, there was drama between two members. It was a huge fight because the former owner was actually not a nice person. He caused the drama between Tell Us About It member Benny Yoseph and ex-member Carter Barton. It was stopped by the owner because she didn't want drama in the group. An admin also decided to create a group called Friends Discussion+ to stop the drama. Later on Boxing Day, Tell Me About It became Tell Us About It and the group's logo was created in January 2018 with the Google+ community being created before the new year. But in January, another Discord raid was planned in the Discord server which involved the owner's Discord account getting infiltrated by a member of Mates Studio Schmucks who happened to be a hacker. She got so overwhelmed that she had to take a 2 month hiatus. However, she returned back to Discord on March 29 to bring back the Discord server once more. On April 5, the Tell Us About It Network was announced to launch soon on Twitch. On April 8, it launched. However, there was programming issues and technical difficulties on April 9 which caused the network to shut down. There was peace and quiet until May when another raid was planned on the Discord server. This time, The 3737 Clan raided the server with blood and gore and all the members didn't like it. The raid took place on May 19.

Then, there was peace and quiet in all of Tell Us About It until the Facebook group got hacked when one of the admins hacked into the group. A member who got involved by the name of Justin Luis Encarnacion acted very immature so he got banned on August. The drama with him made almost all the admins and the owner's closest friends leave Tell Us About It. However, once it was over, the group was back to normal but it wasn't long for the Discord server when Mates Studio Schmucks raided on October 9 when SteveyDuke89 and a former mod known as Vanessa took over the group and said that the owner "got nae-nae'd". Paroos was also involved as well. Tell Us About It moved servers shortly after. But after an ex-member called Pingu25430 called the owner out for activity regarding The Secret Show, she decided to stop airing The Secret Show on the Tell Us About It network replacing it's time slots with another show called Wishfart.
